College Program
About The College Program
The college seminar is a basic seminar in a relaxed atmosphere to introduce the basic foundation to the college recruitment process.
The seminar is an educational tool to help student athletes to prepare and understand how all aspects of the college recruiting process may work.
Topics will include
- Marketing yourself
- Preparing your resume
- How scholarships work
- Understanding the differences of associations
- Understanding differences of divisions recruitment rules
- Clearing house
- Parents role
- Coaches role
- How to get started
- NCAA Guidelines
- Finding a program that fits
The College program is open to all Texas Xtreme FC athletes who participate on a U15 & Older Team. The college program is open to any player outside of the Club at the cost of $25 per player. The ticket will include one player & two parents.
In addition to the college seminar, other supporting programs may be added to the college program. These additions may be provided at additional cost.
Some examples of these programs are College Camp, College Coaches Seminar, College Agent Program. These programs will be optional for all Texas Xtreme Players.
