This weekend the '96 Boys Earned a Spot in the Finals in the PUMA Cup in Keller Texas. The team beat a 3rd division team 1-0 and lost 1-0 to FT Worth united which is a second division team for the 2010 Fall Season. It was a great game which could have gone either way.
In the Finals of the Puma Cup , The boys once again had to face Ft Worth United. This time the odds where really stacked high against the Xtreme '96 Boys. We had only 10 players for the finals and the heat was warming up on the pitch. The boys really showed how much passion and character this team has by not only playing a player short with no subs , But by competing and earning even more respect by the Division 2 team.
FT Worth United won the final 3-1 , The boys gave up a late goal and had a few chances to even up the score.
We are very proud of this team and look forward to the upcoming season.
